Strategic Advisers, LLC – the Northern Kentucky-based communications and public relations firm – annouced today that is moving into new offices in downtown Covington this fall.
The new office will occupy the entire fifth floor of the building located at 535 Madison Avenue. Republic Bank is on the first floor of the building and the Northern Kentucky ezone is on the fourth floor. The agency’s new office, which is now under construction, is expected to be completed in September.
On Tuesday night, the Covington Board of City Commissioners approved payroll incentives for the firm, which is currently located in the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce office complex on Buttermilk Pike in Fort Mitchell.
“We are excited to join the positive energy and the current efforts to redevelop downtown Covington,” said Jay Fossett, a principal in Strategic Advisers.
“We are proud to join development projects such as Hotel Covington, the Mutual Building, Gateway Community and Technical College, Duveneck Place, the tremendous work being done by Southbank Partners on Riverfront Commons, and the many other office, retail, residential, and recreational projects currently underway or on the drawing board in downtown Covington.”
Fossett, a former Covington City Manager, and Patrick Crowley, a former journalist with the Kentucky Enquirer, founded the consulting firm in 2009. Greg Greene, a former banker with Fifth Third Bank, joined the company as a principal in 2011. The firm, which has eight employees, provides communication consulting services in the areas of public relations, digital media, and government relations.
Fossett said a primary reason that the firm is moving to Covington is because of its convenient location and the energetic vibe of the urban area.
“As we continue to grow our footprint outside of Northern Kentucky and into the Cincinnati market, the Covington location provides us a more convenient location from which to serve our clients,” Fossett said.
“This location also is attractive to the young professionals we hope to attract as employees to our business. It is within walking and Red-biking distance to entertainment areas like Mainstrasse, Roebling Point, Newport on the Levee, and the Banks and is very close to unique downtown Covington venues like Braxton Brewery and the new bar and restaurant that will developed as part of Hotel Covington.”
