Daniel Shields has a creative career that began in high school. Using the resources of the local Young Professionals Organization he taught himself Adobe Illustrator CS2 in 10th grade because he wanted to be able to design logos for logo contests.

In 2012, Daniel graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in creative advertising and minor studies in cognitive science. While in college he re-branded many of the organizations in the Center for Student Involvement, and created the first logo for the MacAdam Student Observatory following an off-hand comment from a professor in an astronomy class. Daniel’s expertise is in visual strategy, user experience creation, and user interface design backed by research.
